BW5 - 45ft 9ft 6" hi-cube freight boxes

The hi-cube 45ft ISO container is restricted to the North American Intermodal market and certain trades. Designed for similar products as BW4, but for even greater cargo volume. The unit has 25% more volume than a BX4. Units are designed with MGW of 30480kg so a payload of 25680kg is possible, cubic capacity 86 cubic metres. Units built with corner castings at 40ft and 45ft positions, reduced stacking at 40ft position. Fitted with Gooseneck tunnel.

Possible applications:

Carpets, freezers, white goods, ovens, low value tobacco, toys, balloon cargo, scrap paper.
